OUR HERITAGE
Members of the church of Christ have one goal: to practice Christianity as it is found in the New Testament. We study very hard to find out what the church was like in the beginning and then pattern ourselves after that. We believe this is the worthiest of goals. We very much want to be a Bible centered church. To us, the Bible is the sole authority in all religious matters. We strive to be united wherever God has clearly spoken, and we refuse to divide over matters that Scripture leaves to judgment. In every discussion, we will hold firmly to the authority of God’s Word while treating one another with patience, humility, and love. The church of Christ has no national affiliation nor acentral headquarters. We believe that each congregation of the Lord’s people should be autonomous, that is, self-governing. All decisions are made at the local level. Each congregation is led by a group of men called elders (pastors, bishops, and overseers are other terms used in the New Testament for these men).
OUR MEMBERS
Our members reflect the full range of personalities and backgrounds you would expect in any group. We come from different cultures, experiences, and stages of spiritual growth, and we are each still learning and maturing
in Christ.
OUR WORSHIP
When we assemble for worship, our aim is simple: to honor God according to the pattern revealed in the New Testament. We do not see worship as entertainment or performance, but as reverent participation offered to God
from sincere and obedient hearts (John 4:24). Everything we do in the assembly is guided by Scripture, because we believe God has shown us how He desires to be worshiped (Colossians 3:17). Our worship includes congregational singing without instrumental accompaniment, following the New Testament instruction to sing and make melody in the heart (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). We pray together, give of our means on the first day of the week (1 Corinthians 16:1–2), and partake of the Lord’s Supper each Sunday in remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26). A sermon from the Bible is preached to teach, encourage, and call us to faithful living (2 Timothy 4:2). The atmosphere is intended to be reverent, orderly, and edifying (1 Corinthians 14:40, 26). While our members come from many different backgrounds and levels of spiritual maturity, we are united in our desire to submit to Christ as Lord and to grow together in faith. Our worship is not about personalities, but about glorifying God and strengthening one another in obedience to His Word.

What We Believe
Our Motivation
We have a deep love for God and a sincere care for all people. Love is the mark of true followers and the foundation of all service.
(Jn 13:33–34; 1 Cor 13:1–8)
The Work
The mission of Christ’s church is threefold: share the message of Jesus, support each other in faith, and serve others with love.
(Mk 16:15–16; Rom 14:19; James 1:27)
You Can Be Saved
Salvation is found with faith in Jesus, repenting of sins, confession, baptism into Christ, and remaining faithful. (Jn 3:16; Mk 16:16; Acts 2:38; Rom 10:9–10; Rev 2:10).
True Unity
We embrace Biblical New Testament Christianity, which can unite all Christians as one Body in Christ.
(1 Cor 1:10; Eph 4:4–6)
Our Standard
We believe the Bible is the only guide for our faith and actions. It is the foundation for everything we teach and do. (2 Tim 3:16–17; 1 Peter 4:11; Col 3:17; Rev 22:18–19)
Our Worship
Each Sunday, we gather to fellowship, share the Lord’s Supper, sing without instruments, and give cheerfully.
(Eph 5:9; 1 Cor 16:2; Acts 20:7)
